Drawing inspiration from the prevalent multi-generational homes found in Hawaii, this renovation to the original Aloha Mixed Plate restaurant gets modern upgrades while honoring its original home. The restaurant design references various architectural eras in Hawaii, traditional lava rock garden walls juxtapose retro breezeblock and modern aluminum shade canopies shade an expansive wood deck. All of the new elements are anchored by the original plantation era structure at the core of the restaurant.
